M.Sc. Souvik Ghosh
Ph.D. Student
Souvik was born in 1992 in Chandrakona, a small town of West Bengal, India. He was DAAD WISE Scholar in 2016 and OIST Research Scholar in Japan in 2017. In 2018 he completed his “Integrated Master” from S.V. National Institute of Technology, Surat, India. His master thesis under the supervision of Dr. Satyabrata Si and Prof. Dr. Smita Jauhari dealt with the “Synthesis of Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) by using Carbon Dots (CDs) and its potential application as catalyst and anticancer reagent”.
In September 2018 he joined the Staubitz group as a PhD student focussing on the synthesis of novel switchable polymers as well as the incorporation of boron and nitrogen atoms in organic aromatic ring systems.
