Bachelor's Degree Programs
Please note: New examination regulations will come into force for the bachelor's degree programs in Business Studies and in Economics in the winter semester 2023/24. The information listed below applies to students who are already enrolled in the above-mentioned degree programs. Prospective students please inform themselves in the Study Database about the bachelor program Business Studies and the bachelor program Economics (single major subject and minor subject).
The Faculty of Business Studies and Economics offers the two bachelor programs Business Studies (BWL) and Economics (WiWi). The design principle of both courses of study is: from the mediation of general principles to the treatment of increasingly special business or economic content. In the first half of the study program, the focus is on imparting the basics of economics, in the second half of the study program is an in-depth look at the specifics of the subject. Students have the opportunity to incorporate up to two semesters abroad into their studies. An internship can also be completed during the course of studying and recognized as a program achievement. The aim of the bachelor degree program is to achieve a first class professional qualification that enables both a direct entry into professional life or qualifies for an advanced master's program.
