Most of us may have heard about the harmful effects of air pollution on our health. Children are at greater risk than adults as they breathe faster taking in more polluted air. Dr. Rajini Nagrani from the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology – BIPS is measuring the actual dose of these polluting particles in the children’s urine and assessing its effect on prediabetes and metabolic syndrome.
